What are Exosomes?
Exosomes are tiny particles (extracellular vesicles) that are used in skincare to improve skin and hair health and rejuvenation. Exosomes are naturally found and released by various cells of the body. These particles help the cells communicate with one another by proteins, fats, and genetic material. Their role in aesthetic medicine is to use their unique communication properties to signal the surrounding cells to boost repair and rejuvenation of the skin and hair.
Where do Exosomes come from?
Resilielle is manufactured in the USA using Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), harvested from Wharton’s jelly from a single umbilical cord. Resilielle captures released exosomes specifically targeted for skin and hair. Resilielle uses Age Zero technology which is xeno-free, serum-free, animal-free (and never tested on animals) and no added growth factors. Each batch comes with a certification to ensure high quality, safe and effective exosomes for patient use.
How do Exosomes work?
Exosomes are delivered to the skin topically after a laser or microneedling treatment. The exosomes then get to work by cell-to-cell communication to help boost collagen and elastin, reduce inflammation, and speed up healing.
