Facial Botox/Dysport
Botox and Dysport have been FDA-approved for the cosmetic treatment of wrinkles in the upper face. Botox / Dysport injections are customized for every patient, depending on his/her needs. Botox/ Dysport cannot stop the aging process. However, it can temporarily diminish the look of mild-to-moderate wrinkles caused by muscle movement in the upper and lower face. Results are seen in 5-7 days but can take up to 2 weeks to see full results.
Hyperhidrosis, also known as excessive sweating, most commonly affects the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, groin, or underarms can be managed with Botox/Dysport injections. Botox/Dysport injections work by temporarily blocking the secretion of the chemical responsible for activating the body’s sweat gland and decreasing the sweat response at the area where the medication is injected.
The masseter muscle is in the face and helps you chew. It is located on each side of your face near your lower jawbone. Masseter Botox/Dysport injections can aid in reducing jaw tension or clenching, manage teeth grinding, and help contour/slim the appearance of a square or wide jaw.
Sculptra
Sculptra is a Poly-L-lactic Acid injectable that stimulates your own collagen and elastin production. This is not a dermal filler. Sculptra is injected into targeted layers below the skins surface to improve the appearance of facial fat loss, creases, wrinkles, and folds caused by skin aging. Sculptra improves these concerns by increasing skin thickness in the treated area. Overtime Sculptra helps restore your own body’s inner structure and volume. Sculptra is a customized treatment usually requiring an initial series of treatments about 6 weeks apart.
Dermal Fillers
FDA approved Juvéderm and Restylane are colorless hyaluronic acid gels that are injected into the facial tissue.
